Jim and Dori Talbot

"Hello, I'm Jim Talbot and I have been with the Reading Interfaith Group from the beginning. Looking back its hard to remember exactly how it all started. It was very much a case of interested people getting together and making friends.

As members of the Bah ai faith we accept all religions as part of humanity's growing understanding of God.

We also believe
" the earth is but one country and humankind its citizens."
Our hope is that we will grow in harmony and unity with each other.

As members of the Reading Interfaith Group we've had a very enjoyable time meeting people of many different faiths and visiting their places of worship. As a group we have always appreciated our "unity in diversity."

I am a retired primary school teacher and have lived in Reading all my life. My wife Dori has traveled much more. She is a professional artist with a reputation among Interfaith Group members for making chocolate cake and apple pie!"
