15th March- An evening about Fasting is held at the Indian Community centre. Speakers contribute from the Baha’i and Hindu communities. Two new friends join from the "Self Realization Fellowship.”

13th April- Reading Interfaith Group renew their membership of RCRE following a meeting with Rajinder Sophal.

21st April- A“Special Evening.” takes place which includes children’s music from the Hebrew Congregation, Hindu dancing, a talk by the Brahma Kunaris, Buddhists chanting, Bhajans, Krishna consciousness, and a Christian choir.

Tuesday 18th May-" Pilgrimage" slide show led by speakers from Baha’i and Brahma Kumaris at Goilancz Hall. Poor attendance by committee though 20 attended from Newbold College.

29th June- Committee decide to reduce public programmes to 4 a year.
Note on agenda “Please please please do come along for this important meeting with ideas concerning key speakers, performers, entertainers etc from your particular faith.”

Sunday 19th September-Reading Interfaith Group hold their own pilgrimage beginning at St John’s Church. Their route includes the Gurdwara and Alexandra Rd Mosque.

21st October-Meeting at Civic Centre attended by the Bishop. Ejaz Elahi comes for the first time as a speaker.
Reading Interfaith group discuss problems in Yugoslavia.

Thursday 26th November "Evening on Prayer and Meditation." The speakers proposed are Rev. Peter Bowe, a Benedictine monk from Douai and a Buddhist monk or nun from Chithurst.
