Thankyou to the Hindu Community of Reading for the very kind and generous welcome we received on March 27th. This was a most enjoyable evening during which we all learnt something. Many thanks also to everyone who came and supported this event. It was so nice to see you!

Friendship Walk 2008 We have since received permission from Thames Valley Police for this to take place. Now we are waiting to hear from the Council Highways department although (admittedly) it is a little hard agreeing to a route before we have decided where we would like to walk to!

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. --Anne Frank
